Rebuild ofLlama Best Practices: Unlock Rich Insights from Rich Documents (opens in a new tab)Clean

Upload a PDF report and pull out the key numbers, tables and charts. This rebuilds Meta's video "Llama Best Practices: Unlock Rich Insights from Rich Documents" (https://dev.meta.ai/resources/videos/unlock-rich-insights-from-rich-documents) on current Muse models. It demonstrates: Extracting data from PDFs, invoices and reports with the DocumentLens recipe. Plan: Upload a PDF report. Spark 1.3 reads it directly and answers with tables and page references, and SAM 3.1 outlines the charts and figures on page images.

SAM 3.1Outline charts and figures on page imagesSAM finds chart and figure regions from short prompts so pages can show visual outlines.

    Limits

    • Rebuild fit: clean. Rebuilds the same PDF extraction demo on current Muse models without the original footage, script, DocumentLens code, or Meta and Llama branding.
    • PDF requests are capped at about 4.5 MB. Larger files use temporary storage and are deleted after 24 hours.
    • Page references and numbers are model estimates. Check the original PDF before business use.
    • Chart outlines need simple prompts like chart or figure and can miss small or overlapping graphics.
    • Built with Muse Muse and is not an official Meta product.
